I am a self-taught artist and have enjoyed producing and selling my paintings for more than 40 years now. Since I spent most of my childhood along the Gulf Coast, most of my early work was either seascapes or had a nautical theme. When I moved further inland I began painting landscapes and other subjects.

I produce work in oil, watercolor, acrylic and pencil, as well as producing Museum Quality Fine Art Photographs. My painting style would best be described as impressionistic realism. Although loose and painterly, my paintings have a certain reality. My paintings are usually based upon people, places, or things that I have known. I love to entertain with my art and if possible evoke a mood or bring back memories of pleasant times.

I am a member of the National Watercolor Association, The Mississippi Watercolor Association and the Association of Miniature Artist, as well as a number of on-line groups.

Through the years I have shown my art in a number of venues and my artwork has been purchased and collected throughout the United States and thanks to the internet now the world.
